Extreme flooding in many streets caused chaos in October as cars struggled to drive through the rain.

Floodwater of around 20 inches trapped people in their car and caused traffic mayhem at Bridge Street, Pinner, with the water affecting various other parts of Harrow.

The London Fire Brigade were called to the scene and confirmed there were three cars “stranded in floodwater” under Pinner Bridge.

Homeowners in the Grove Court block of Lyon Square, a two-year-old Redrow development in Lyon Road, Harrow, was accused of poor workmanship and deception.

Many people living at the development reported issues with the roof, mould, hot water and heating, broken main doors and more since moving in.

Mark Parker, regional chief executive of Redrow Greater London, responded that all homes were built to the Building Regulations and National Housebuilding Council standards, and that issues with the gates would be repaired.

Segal Thapa, 17, who is a cadet from the 201 Harrow detachment, attempted to save the life of a 20-year-old who was stabbed to death at Hillingdon Station.

The cadet was just a few carriages away when Tashan Daniel was stabbed on his way to the Emirates stadium.

Tashan bought himself a ticket to an Arsenal game as a birthday present to himself.

Mr Thapa searched for a defibrillator and escorted people out of the station as this happened.

After 20 minutes, staff with a defibrillator arrived at the scene, but it was too late.
