TRAINEE Ealing midwives have been recognised again their knowledge and skills in supporting infant feeding.
Accreditation from the UNICEF Baby Friendly Initiative was given to the midwifery team from the University of West London’s College of Nursing, Midwifery and Healthcare.
Students impressed with their ability to advise, help and support mothers.
As part of the assessment, 20 final-year students were interviewed by UNICEF during a day of activity which also included guest speakers and experts on infant feeding.
Students also raised £50 for the charity with a UNICEF themed bake-off competition, won by Cecilia Reeves-Smith for her UNICEF logo cake.
The college previously received the accreditation in 2014 and 2017.
