A pedestrian was taken to hospital after he was struck by a vehicle on the A487.
Dyfed-Powys Police officers attended the crash which happened at about 6.50pm on Tuesday, January 21, on the A487 at Furnace, near Machynlleth.
The collision involved three vehicles, two of which were parked, and a pedestrian.
One male was arrested on suspicion of causing injury by dangerous driving. He currently remains in police custody.
Paramedics took the pedestrian to Bronglais General Hospital in Aberystwyth.
"His injuries are not believed to be life threatening" a police force spokeswoman said.
The road was closed with diversions in place and reopened at 1.30am on Wednesday morning (January 22).
