The family of a woman killed after being hit by a bus have paid tribute to a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and nan.

Kerry Elizabeth Goodchild, 52, from Watford, died in Market Street in the town centre on Monday.

Ms Goodchild’s family say she died “immediately” at the scene following the collision which happened at around 6.20pm.

In a statement, Ms Goodchild’s family said: “Kerry was a vivacious and loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt and most recently a nan. She will be missed sorely by her family and her many friends in Watford and beyond.”

Earlier this week, friends and family left flowers and messages near the scene in Market Street.
