A ten-year-old boy has been left with serious head injuries following a car crash.
Met Police were called at 7.55pm on Thursday, February 13, to reports of a car in collision with a pedestrian in Barking Road, Newham, near Ernald Avenue.
Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended and the boy was taken to an east London hospital.
He remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition.
His next-of-kin have been informed.
The driver of the car stopped at the scene and is assisting police with their enquiries.
Detectives from the Met’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit are investigating.
