A cyclist has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car.
Police were called around 9am today (Wednesday, March 11) to reports of a collision between a car and a bicycle in Hempstead Road, Watford.
The cyclist was taken to hospital for treatment.
Their injuries are not thought to be serious.
The crash caused long queues down the road for motorists this morning as the incident was dealt with by police.
Motorists faced delays travelling down the road from the M25 junction 19 roundabout.
There are still some delays now between Langley Road and Courtlands Drive.
