    Last night, Prime Minister Boris Johnson put us all on lockdown for a minimum of three weeks due to the Covid-19 coronavirus outbreak.

  • You can only leave your house for essential shopping. You can also leave the house to go to work (if working from home is not possible). Housing minister Robert Jenrick said this includes construction workers.

  • You are allowed out for one form of outdoor exercise a day and you cannot hang around in groups of more than two.

  • Police can fine people caught ignoring the restrictions, and can also disperse gatherings.

  • So far, 335 people in the UK have died after testing positive for the coronavirus.

  • 115 people in Hertfordshire have tested positive for the virus, but the real number is likely to be much higher.

  • A third Covid-19 related death in Hertfordshire was confirmed by West Herts Hospitals NHS Trust yesterday. A woman in her 70s died at Watford General Hospital on Saturday.
