A man who claimed he had coronavirus was Tasered after he coughed on and tried to attack police.
Firearm officers were in their vehicle at Seven Sisters Road, Haringey, on Saturday (March 28), when the man approached them at around 4.20pm.
The man, 24, shouted he had coronavirus and then deliberately coughed his saliva at the officers while also trying to physically attack them.
He was Tasered by the firearm officers and arrested without injury and arrested on suspicion of public order offences and assault on an emergency worker.
After the arrest, he was assessed and found not to have any symptoms at the time.
