Diana Ivory says that cycle lanes often have cars parked on them
So pleased Peter Hutchinson enjoyed his spin on the Beryl Bike (Letters, March 13).

I hope, as he ‘sailed past’ the jams, he was following dedicated cycle lanes.
I am afraid when I discover them they usually peter out or, infuriatingly, have cars parked in them no matter what time of day!
