With most children being unable to go to school and stuck at home, we are continuing to encourage children to tell us their favourite thing they have done or seen this week.

We received some brilliant entries last week and have featured some of these in our paper yesterday. Scroll down below to see the pictures we featured.

This week, children of all ages are again invited to send us a drawing and story. We're looking for a photo of your child with their drawing, and a story of up to 150 words.

The story and picture can be about anything, whether it is a fun activity in the garden, a book they have read, or any homemade goodies they have made. We want to hear about how they have been enjoying their free time.

Entries will be featured both online and in the paper, with one winning story chosen by our content editor Kelly Pells, who has had short stories published in various writing magazines.

‘Hi I’m Vasanthi, my daughter’s name is Yuhanvi. She is three years old. This week

my daughter did lots of colouring activity, and we clapped for NHS. She coloured a

stethoscope picture and we celebrated the Indian Karnataka festival Ugadi.’

cleaners. It is hanging outside of our window, with nuts inside.
