TWO Hillingdon causes are among 13 in London to benefit from a fund set up by warehouse developer SEGRO, to mark its 100th anniversary.
SEGRO identified charities giving immediate and meaningful support to people affected by the pandemic in boroughs where the company has a presence.
They include Home-Start Hillingdon, which offers support to vulnerable families, and Hillingdon Brain Tumour and Injury Group, which provides food and online counselling for 60 people living with the conditions.
The fund will have £10m to award to community projects over the next decade. Its launch was brought forward in this first year to help reduce the impact of the virus.
