Hi, I’m Frank and I’m two-years-old. I’m a shy, sensitive boy who was brought to the National Animal Welfare Trust as a stray in March, just before lockdown.

Despite my sad start in life I’m a very sweet cat who enjoys having a gentle stroke once I’ve got to know you, but I’m still settling into my surroundings and spend most of my time hiding. The team here have been spending time with me and I’m slowly learning that there’s nothing to be scared of.

I’m looking for a gentle, patient owner who will give me plenty of time to settle in at my own pace. Because I’m still a bit nervous, I need a home with adults or families where the children are 14 and over. I’d like to be the only pet so I feel safe.

It will probably take me a little while but when I do find the courage I will need to be able to get outside to explore.

Coming from the NAWT, I’ve been medically checked by a vet, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and neutered. I’ve also been given an individual training plan and four free weeks of Petplan insurance.

If you could be the special person to offer me a home of my own, email reception@nawt.org.uk or call 0208 950 0177 (option 2) to arrange a visit now that the NAWT has started rehoming again.
