Hello, my name’s Remy and I’m a cheeky four-year-old Lurcher who’s full of energy and fun.

I was brought to the National Animal Welfare Trust as a stray back in June 2018.

Since then, I’ve seen all my friends go to new homes, but I’ve been left behind. What I really want more than anything in the world is a home and a family to call my own.

I can be nervous when meeting new people, especially men, so I’m looking for a home, preferably with a woman and a calm laidback dog of a similar size to give me more confidence.

Hillingdon Times:

But if you’re a laidback kind of guy who’ll listen to advice from the centre’s trainer and let me come around in my own time, let’s meet and see how we get on.

I get scared being left on my own so need someone who’s home all day to keep me company and gradually build up the time I’m left.

I love to play and running around with a toy is one of my favourite things. When it’s hot I like to splash in water to cool down.

Hillingdon Times:

I like walks but can get overexcited when meeting new dogs. I need a patient owner with experience of nervous dogs who will use reward-based training to help me settle.

If you can give Remy the loving home he deserves, email reception@nawt.org.uk or call 0208 950 0177 (option 2) to arrange a visit once the NAWT reopens.
