A GIRL of seven has raised more than £1,100 for Paul Strickland Scanner Centre in Northwood by riding her bike.
The centre is an independent charity that specialises in cancer imaging. It is co-located with Mount Vernon Cancer Centre.
Olivia Alcorano, from Watford, decided she would raise money as her dad was twice treated there for cancer. She learned to ride her bike during lockdown and plans to doing give miles every day.
Her dad, Tino, said: “Paul Strickland Scanner Centre have supported us as a family for the last 10 years and continues to do.
“She would like to do this until she returns to school to see how many people she can help and how much money she can raise.”
