Police called to Horseshoe Lane in Garston after stabbing

Officers were called to Horseshoe Lane in Garston at 12.45pm on Sunday (July 5) to reports of an altercation involving four men.

When police arrived, a man was found with stab wounds and he was taken to hospital.

Police say his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

The suspects, described by police as white and wearing joggers, could not be traced following a search of the area by officers.

Hertfordshire Constabulary says the men are believed to have left the scene in a vehicle - possibly a Volkswagen.

Police have added that all those involved are believed to be known to each other.

Yesterday afternoon, police had taped off a bus stop and a service road outside Garston Manor School, opposite Woodside Leisure Centre.

Anyone with any information about the stabbing has been asked to get in touch with police.
