EALING-based charities, community groups, clubs and sports teams affected by the Covid-19 outbreak have the chance of sharing a £10,000 fund.
Decorating and DIY firm Leyland SDM, which has 23 stores including one in The Mall, Ealing, has launched its Give London A Lift campaign.
Each month until October, it will give away two prizes of £1,000 worth of credit for groups to use on a project.
Organisations can apply online each month, detailing why they believe they would by worthy recipients of the £1,000. Winners will be chosen by a team of judges.
Marketing director Paul Gerreli said: “Like the rest of London, Ealing has been deeply affected by the Covid-19 outbreak and charities and groups which support the community will be trying to pick up the pieces.”
Ealing groups can apply for prizes to help open new premises or renovate an existing building.
