Brent people are being urged to take part in a survey on the impact of Covid-19.

Brent Council urged as many people as possible to answer the online survey so it can “better understand” the effect it has had on the borough and help plan for any future issues related to the virus.

The survey, which covers several subjects including testing, mental health, employment and council communications, is anonymous and should take no more than ten minutes to complete.

Cllr Muhammed Butt, leader of Brent Council, said: “In these unprecedented times, we want to check in with residents.

“By better understanding how people have been affected by the pandemic, how they’re feeling, as well as any current and future needs, we can plan accordingly.

“I encourage everyone to take the questionnaire, and please consider sharing with friends, family or neighbours who live in the borough.”

When looking at London, Brent has been hit particularly hard by the coronavirus pandemic.

As of yesterday (July 6), its total number of cases, 1,731, is the second highest of all boroughs after Croydon.

And in terms of rate of infection per 100,000 residents, it is the highest in the capital with 523.
