A man had £200 stolen from his pocket after he was distracted shortly after he left a cashpoint.
Police are investigating a theft which happened in Borehamwood town centre on Thursday July 20.
At around 2.50pm, a man withdrew £200 from a cashpoint in Shenley Road and began walking towards Borehamwood Shopping Park via Keystone Passage.
As he went down the steps near WH Smith, a woman approached him.
At the same time, a man approached him from behind and took the £200 from his pocket before running back towards Shenley Road.
Police have issued two CCTV images of people they would like to speak to.
PC Robert Clemmit, who is investigating, said: "I would like to appeal for any witnesses who may have seen this incident to contact police. I’d also like to identify the man and woman pictured as they may have information which could greatly assist the investigation."
