A-LEVEL students at St Benedict's, Ealing, are destined for their first-choice university in almost all cases, despite the complexities of this summer's exam results process.
Head Andrew Johnson said: “The award of grades this year has been a stressful and difficult process for our students, who are anxious to see their hard work over almost two years is rewarded with a fair and proper set of results.
“Happily, candidates at St Benedict’s have done extremely well and have received some very pleasing results.
“This is no more than these students deserve. Had the exams taken place, we were fully expecting this upper sixth group to achieve the school’s best-ever A-level results.”
The results overall are higher than ever, with 49.3% of all grades at A*-A and 80.7% of all grades at A*-B.
