A seven-year-old girl has cycled five miles a day during lockdown to fundraise for the hospital who treated her father for cancer.

Olivia Alcorano has so far raised more than £3,000 for Mount Vernon Hospital in Northwood.

The charitable youngster, whose father Tino received cancer treatment at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre twice, has been cycling five miles a day having learnt to cycle during the lockdown period.

Peter Taylor, the elected mayor of Watford, has awarded Olivia a certificate of commendation on behalf of the community.
