A man was punched and kicked multiple times in a pub.

Police are investigating an assault which took place at The Western in Rickmansworth High Street on Thursday August 27.

Police say between 11.20pm and 11.30pm, a man became involved in a dispute with two other men.

The two men then began attacking their victim, repeatedly punching and kicking him.

While he was being attacked, the victim hit his head on a pole and he fell to the ground - but the attack didn't stop there.

The two men continued to assault him, leaving him with a swollen eye and cuts to his face.

Police say the victim was also racially abused while he was attacked.

CCTV images have been released of two men police believe can help with their enquiries.

PC Dan Cunningham, from the Rickmansworth and Croxley Green safer neighbourhood team, said: "This was a nasty assault and I want to make clear that there is no place for racism in Rickmansworth. We are doing all we can to investigate and find those responsible.

"We believe that those pictured were in the area at the time of the offence and they could have vital information about what happened.
