The Royal British Legion is looking for volunteers to help sell poppies for this year’s appeal.
Leytonstone’s Royal British Legion Branch will hold a main collection point at Leytonstone Tesco store, but the branch needs volunteers to help sell the poppies.
Volunteers do not have to be a member of the legion or served in the Armed Forces to help out.
There will be various collection boxes around Leytonstone, but due to the pandemic the legion has declared the Tesco store as the main collection point.
Hand gels, masks, wipes and gloves will be available for all volunteers if required.
A spokesperson for the branch said: “Unfortunately a lot of charities will be suffering this year including the Royal British Legion and any help anyone can offer, even if it’s only for a few hours, will be greatly appreciated.”
