Get ready to head down to your local Wetherspoons as the chain prepares for a 17-day British ale festival.
Amid the pandemic, it may seem that the concept of ‘fun’ has been lost on us – but Wetherspoons is bringing along an exciting ale festival to brighten the mood, which will offer a range of up to 20 classic British ales starting from next Friday (October 9).
The Moon Under Water and The Colombia Press in High Street, Watford, along with The Pennsylvanian in Rickmansworth, will be among the branches participating in the festival between October 9 to October 25.
Prices will be priced from £1.69 to £1.99 a pint.
The festival line-up includes Thornbridge Jaipur IPA, Greene King Abbot Reserve, Shepherd Neame Bishops Finger, Theakston Old Peculier, Wychwood Hobgoblin, Adnams Ghost Ship, Exmoor Gold and Hook Norton Old Hooky.
The Moon Under Water manager Kwame Tefe said: "The festival is a great celebration of classic British ales.
"It will allow us to showcase these superb beers over a 17-day period and also support British brewers.
"All the beers will be available at great value for money prices."
Testing notes on all of the drinks on offer will be available on the Wetherspoons app.
