A secondary school invited its local MP to see the measures it has brought in to keep students and staff safe.
Rickmansworth School welcomed Gagan Mohindra on Monday to see first-hand its Covid-19 risk management.
This was Mr Mohindra’s first visit to the school since it fully opened after lockdown in September and following his election as MP for South West Hertfordshire.
Headteacher Matt Fletcher was pleased to have the chance to meet Mr Mohindra and to showcase how hard the school’s staff have been working during the pandemic to ensure the continued provision of education.

Mr Fletcher also took the opportunity to make some broader suggestions on behalf of staff and students in all schools.
Mr Mohindra also spoke to the school’s 'A' Level Politics students who also had the chance to ask him questions.
He spoke to the group about his role as an MP before opening the floor to questions from the students.
