A person had to be rescued after they were left trapped inside a car following a crash.
Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue says it was called at 12.16pm today (October 21) to a road traffic collision involving two cars in Prestwick Road, South Oxhey.
Two fire crews from Watford attended the scene and found a person trapped in one of the cars.
At 12:17 both @FireWatford were mobilised to a road traffic collision to rescue a person trapped inside their vehicle. As our crew successfully extricated the casualty @EastEnglandAmb were able to take over and provide treatment 🚒 🚑 #workingtogether

The fire service says the person was freed by firefighters and was attended to by paramedics.
East of England Ambulance and Hertfordshire Constabulary have been approached for more information.
