THERE have been 31 more cases of coronavirus diagnosed in the Stroud district.

127 new coronavirus cases were reported across Gloucestershire yesterday, official figures show.

Stroud saw 31 new cases on Saturday, the highest in the county.

672 people in the Stroud district have now tested positive for the virus.

The health body is now including Pillar 2 tests – those carried out by commercial partners – alongside Pillar 1 tests, which are analysed in NHS or PHE laboratories and which made up the first stage of the Government's mass testing programme.
