Police arrested two teenagers in Nailsworth last night for drunk and disorderly behaviour and on suspicion of theft.
A 17-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of repeated recent thefts of alcohol, and a 19-year-old man was arrested for being drunk and disorderly.
The two teenagers were in a group of ten people who were encouraged to disperse with advice to pay more attention to community safety.
Both suspects spent the night in custody.
The 17-year-old has been released under investigation for evidence to be reviewed by a multi-agency panel who will decide whether he should be charged.
The 19-year-old was given a £90 penalty notice for disorder.
