THERE have been 41 more cases of coronavirus diagnosed in the Stroud district.

109 new coronavirus cases were reported across Gloucestershire yesterday, official figures show.

Stroud saw 41 new cases on Monday, the highest in the county.

935 people in the Stroud district have now tested positive for the virus.

The health body is now including Pillar 2 tests – those carried out by commercial partners – alongside Pillar 1 tests, which are analysed in NHS or PHE laboratories and which made up the first stage of the Government's mass testing programme.
