A fire broke out at a house after the roof insulation caught fire.
Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue says it was called to a report of a fire at a farm in London Road, Rickmansworth, around 3.53pm yesterday (November 20).
The service said there had been a fire in the single storey area of a detached house involving the roof insulation.
At 15:54, control mobilised crews from @A07Fire and @redsfirewatford to reports of a fire at a farm in Rickmansworth. Upon arrival, crews discovered a fire involving roof insulation in the main house. 1 hose reel, 2 BA and a triple extension ladder were used to extinguish. 🚒💦🪜

Two crews, one from Rickmansworth and Watford, were rushed to the scene.
The service says firefighters used one hose reel and two breathing apparatus to tackle the fire.
The fire was put out by 5.20pm.
