Wycombe manager Gareth Ainsworth has described the Wycombe Homeless Connection’s achievement of raising £50,000 through its annual Big Sleep Out as ‘awesome’.
More than 340 people took part in the event which will help those who are currently without a home in the town and beyond.
He said: “I take my hat off to them as some things are bigger than football.
“This club through the years has been connected to the One Can Trust and homeless charities and I think it is great that people in these times are raising that amount of money.
“That is absolutely awesome.”
