A house is aglow with colourful festive lights to raise money for charity.
James Herrington’s home in Headland Close, Peacehaven, has been decorated from top to bottom, complete with Santa and his reindeer.
Jimmy is hoping his display will raise funds for the National Autistic Society.
A switch-on event is planned for 6.30pm this evening and will be attended by none other than Father Christmas himself.
Jimmy said: “All the lights that have been put up are low wattage and energy efficient. Come and see this wonderful display, dig deep and donate to a great cause.”
The lights will be up until January 6 and carols will be played every evening until 10pm.
Have you seen anything to match it?
The Argus is on the lookout for the best Christmas decorations in Sussex. Decorations have started popping up across the county so the competition could be fierce.
We can’t wait to see what you come up with, whether it is a Santa sticking out of the fireplace, or an extravagant winter wonderland.
Rushfields Plant Centre in Henfield Road, Poynings, is sponsoring our Christmas competition and will give the lucky winner a £50 gift voucher to spend at the centre.
To enter, send pictures of the Christmas lights outside your house to olivia.marshall@newsquest.co.uk.
