UPDATE: The A41 has reopened after a crash in the morning.
A Ford Transit van and a car transporter were involved in a crash on the A41 northbound near Kings Langley today (March 2) at 6am.
The driver of the Transit van was taken to hospital by ambulance ot be assessed for a wrist and chest injury, but the injuries are thought to not be life threatening.
The A41 at Hunton Bridge was closed from J20 on the M25 in Kings Langley to the A414 by Hemel Hempstead.
The closure caused delays on the M25 in both directions near Junction 20.
It also affected traffic between Junction 20 on the M25 and Aylesbury, and at Watford Road.

Hertfordshire Constabulary warned that road closures were in place and was causing heavy traffic. People were asked to avoid the area at this time.
Red Eagle Buses reports that its S1 and 361 service was delayed due to the crash.
