THE first residents are settling into Bogart House at Filmworks, a new lifestyle quarter in Ealing.
Built by St George, the 200 new homes are inspired by the glamour of the Roaring Twenties. The first residents moved in this month and were greeted with personalised gifts from the developer, which rolled out a red carpet to welcome them.
The site of the former Forum Theatre celebrates Ealing’s cinematic history with a restoration of the cinema’s original Grade II listed façade and creation of buildings named after famous actors who starred at nearby Ealing Studios.
The development will feature an eight-screen Picturehouse cinema with more than 1,000 seats.
Bogart House is located between three of Ealing's Victorian landmarks, the town hall, the old fire station and Christ the Saviour Church.
