Transport for London is looking for new staff across London.

Event Officer - Urban Design London (UDL) 

Location: Southwark

Salary: £30,000

UDL runs around 80+ events, workshops, site visits, debates and design reviews a year, receiving in the region of 8,000 bookings from a variety of individuals and organisations.

It is looking for a resourceful, innovative, enthusiastic and hard-working team member.

The person will help deliver our Events Programme (covering training on urban design, planning, housing, transport and public realm), with responsibility for event administration, finance, website management, point of contact for enquiries and UDL marketing and communications. 

Track chargehand

Location: District Line – East End

Salary: £52,652

A Track Chargehand is wanted to lead and direct a track maintenance team, working for the District Line.

Yyou will carry out routine, complex and remedial maintenance tasks on the Line’s track and associated assets in accordance with the Company’s safety, quality and efficiency targets.

Construction Manager

Location: Southwark and sites across London

Salary: Circa £50,000

The role of Construction Manager is vital to ensuring projects are delivered safely and efficiently.

These projects are no small task and can come with a value of £300m but as an experienced Construction Manager, or with extensive Site Agent / Project Manager experience, these are projects that will allow you to thrive as you bring an extra dimension to our existing team. 

Day-to-day you’ll manage the construction site operations in line with design specifications as well as ensuring that Health and Safety are complied to at all times. Responsibility for resolving issues and guaranteeing safety that mirrors the TfL corporate safety vision will become second nature.

Providing expert advice to the teams, you’ll be a trusted support to the Project Managers ensuring contract adherence be on hand to manage meetings with contractors and suppliers.

Director of Transport Innovation

This role responsible for making sure transport in London is ready for the future.
