Conservative party candidate Darran Davies has won the Charville ward by-election in Hillingdon.
Darren Davies won 2,098 of the vote share, beating Labour and Co-operative Party candidate Stephen Garelick by 299 votes, writes Stephanie Stapleton.
Davies will take over from Conservative Cllr Neil Fyfe, who died last year.
Cllr Fyfe had served constituents for a decade.
Green party candidate Jon Bowman received 164 votes, while Liberal Democrats contender Alexander Martin Cunliffe received 107.
Independent candidate Tiffany Rytter received the least amount of votes, polling 61.
The turnout was 46.71%.
