PEOPLE in Hillingdon are being urged residents to get on their Santander Cycles for free this weekend - and join in the World’s Biggest Bike Ride.
To take part, all cyclists need to do is to pledge to ride any distance on Sunday (30) - and then get out and cycle it on the day.
And, to mark Bike Week next week, nextbike, which operates Santander Cycles Brunel, has partnered with Cycling UK to offer giving free and discounted rentals.
Customers can get 60 minutes of free cycling in Hillingdon.
During Bike Week, new customers can also sign up for monthly membership at the discounted rate of £8 for the first month, followed by a £10 per month renewal.
Krysia Solheim, nextbike UK MD, said: “Using a Santander Cycle is also one of the cheapest ways to get around Uxbridge and Hillingdon - and there’s never been a better time to get on one of our bikes.”
