The US President's aircraft was spotted flying over Leavesden yesterday afternoon.

Joe Biden is on his first overseas visit as US president and currently on an eight-day trip around Europe.

On Wednesday evening, Air Force One touched down at RAF Mildenhall in Suffolk  and the president disembarked from the plane with his wife Jill.

But earlier in the day, Steve Bond captured the Marine One helicopter which he says he saw flying north over Leavesden.

The helicopter, which had 'United States of America' printed on the side along with a US flag, is used to fly the US president and is dubbed 'Marine One' when the President is on board.

It is not the first time in recent history Presidential aircraft has been spotted in our skies.

Donald Trump landed at The Grove hotel in a helicopter for the NATO summit, which was held in December 2019.
