New lifts make Ickenham station step-free
ICKENHAM Underground station has become step-free with the addition of two new lifts.
Additional improvements will be made next year, including a step-free accessible car park, with three blue badge spaces next to the station.
The work will improve access for people with mobility needs, heavy luggage or children in buggies.
It brings the total number of step-free stations on the Tube system to 84.
