Career path: NHS front-liners have inspired youngsters to enter the profession
STUDENTS at Barnhill Community High School in Hayes took part in an NHS NextGen Nurse event, to discover what being a nurse can offer.
Ffion Thomas, careers co-ordinator at Barnhill, said:“The pandemic has shone a light on the amazing work our NHS nurses do every day, and I know many of our students have been inspired to consider going into nursing.”
Elizabeth Carter, of NextGen Nurse, said: “Our hope is the students will seriously consider a future in the NHS as nurses and see nursing as an aspirational career of choice.”
