Appeal following fatal collision at Ruislip
POLICE are appealing for witnesses and any road users with dashcam footage following a fatal collision in Ruislip early today (4).
They were called at approx 06.10 to reports of a collision on the westbound carriageway of the A40, where a car had left the road.
Despite the best efforts of emergency services, a man, believed to be the driver, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Anyone who was in the area at the time and who witnessed the incident is urged to call 101, or tweet @MetCC and quote ref: CAD1555/04Sep21.
Officers are particularly keen to hear from anyone who has dashcam or other video footage.
