A 1933 Morgan Family Super Sports has been discovered by Charterhouse Auctioneers tucked away in the corner of a Dorset barn.
The Morgan three wheeler is being sold at the Charterhouse auction following the death of its long-term owner.
He had not seen his beloved Morgan for some time as it was parked up in one of his barns and only accessible via a small track which had been reclaimed by nature making access difficult.
“It’s the dream to make discoveries such as this,” said Richard Bromell from Charterhouse.
“Whilst many like to buy their classic and vintage cars on the button there are many who love and enjoy the challenge of either re-commissioning a car or embarking on a full blown restoration, especially at this time of the year with collectors looking for a winter project.”
The Morgan rolled off the production line in 1933 fitted with a JAP 1,200cc V twin engine to the front with two wheels and a third wheel to the back.
The vehicle will be up for sale at the Charterhouse specialist auction of classic and vintage cars on October 5, at the Haynes International Motor Museum.
Viewing for the auction at Haynes is on Monday, October 4.
