THE Hillingdon Community Awards are your chance to nominate an individual or team who have gone above and beyond to make a difference where you live or work.
Many people work behind the scenes to make the borough a special place to live, work and visit. It could be something as simple as helping someone with their shopping, delivering food or even befriending, caring, or saving someone’s life.
The awards, which are now open for nominations, recognise and celebrate the best of Hillingdon.
If you know someone who deserves recognition, fill in a short form explaining what they do at www.hillingdon.gov.uk/community-awards. Nominations are open until Friday, December 31.
Cllr Ian Edwards, leader of Hillingdon Council said: “It’s our way of saying thank-you to our unsung heroes in Hillingdon.”
