A HOUSE builder has donated some of its show homes furniture to Harefield Hospital, for use in staff rooms.
Bellway North London, based in Ruislip, says several staff members have personal links to the hospital.
Among them is sales administrator Paula Jones, whose father underwent a triple heart bypass at Harefield almost 36 years ago and whose daughter, Lauren Connolly, is a cardiology nurse specialist there.
Paula said: “It is a privilege for us to be able to help such a wonderful hospital in any way we can.
“It is good to know the furniture is being used to help provide the hard-working doctors and Nurses with a comfortable space where they can relax and unwind.”
Carol Gadd, cardiothoracic clinical services manager at Harefield, said: “We created a temporary staff coffee room at the height of the pandemic and now, with some of this furniture, we will make this into a proper staff room.”
