STARTING today (2), any donation made to Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals Charity will be doubled.
Generous friends of the two hospitals are providing £20,000 to match any donation made in December.
Funds raised will go towards a new initiative that will help COVID-19 patients with their psychological recovery after being critically ill.
Dr Anne-Marie Doyle, project lead for Road to Recovery, said: “Getting someone healthy after they have been critically ill with Covid-19 involves more than just helping the patient overcome the physical effects of the disease.
“Through individual and group sessions, we can connect isolated patients and make sure they get the support they need to get back on their feet.”
