Thomas Frank wants to party when Brentford host Leeds on Sunday.

The Bees will be buzzing with their finish to the campaign and head into the final game of the season in 11th with 46 points.

Leeds will start the weekend in the relegation zone, level on points with Burnley, whose result they need to better to stay up.

And Frank expects Brentford fans to be in full voice to celebrate such an impressive first season in the Premier League.

"Brentford fans will be ready to celebrate and have a party on Sunday," said Frank.

"Hopefully, we can give them one last match performance. I think our fans will be on it. In many ways, it has been a remarkable season for us.

"I think this is one of the reasons we love football, because it means so much to people.

"There has been a lot to celebrate, and now they need to cheer us on for the last time this season.

"I am pretty sure they can't wait. Hopefully, we can give them a good performance.

"The players train very hard, and I can't see them taking their foot off the gas and not going max power on Sunday.

"There can be that little bit of freedom, but when you cross that line, you go into match mode and want to win."

Premier League officials will be hoping that Brentford fans can remain restrained following a series of unsavoury scenes up and down the country over the last week.

A fan has been jailed after headbutting Billy Shap at the end of Nottingham Forest's play-off match with Sheffield United, while Patrick Vieira was filmed kicking a fan who goaded him following Everton's 3-2 home win against Crystal Palace.

However, Frank will be expecting something quite different this weekend, with safety assured and eyes already on next season.

He added: "Sometimes it frightens me because you dwell on things for one night, and then you want to improve the team.

"It is just relentless how you constantly push with what you can do in pre-season to be physically better or train something into the team, or how you can recruit players to make the team better.

"That's fantastic, but sometimes you think if you will ever have a break.

"I know we will focus on trying to win it, as we have done any other game. We have a chance to go top ten, so we will do that. We will come with everything."
