QUEEN’S Nurse Sharon Aldridge-Bent, from Uxbridge, is made an MBE in the Birthday Honours.

Sharon, 57, Director of Nursing Programmes – Leadership at The Queen's Nursing Institute, is honoured for services to community nursing.
