MORE homes in Hillingdon are to benefit from high-speed internet connections after the council agreed a new partnership with broadband provider Hyperoptic.
Thousands of social housing properties will be hooked up to Hyperoptic’s full-fibre connections as the council looks to address digital inequality.
Work is scheduled to begin in the north of the borough, with hundreds of homes earmarked for the upgrade.
Cllr Douglas Mills, Cabinet Member for Corporate Services, said: "As more and more day-to-day services are delivered digitally, it’s vital we make available the fastest, best connectivity.”
