UTC Heathrow’s Year 13 students are celebrating after their hard work, determination and resilience paid off with exam results that will open doors to the next stages of their lives.
The University Technical College, based at Northwood Hills, offers three distinct pathways at post 16: Technical, A-level and a combination of the two in a unique workplace-style environment.
The school is particularly delighted that several students have landed apprenticeships after working alongside data service employers on a new Digital Futures Programme.
Others are starting apprenticeships at Cyrus One, Sir Robert McAlpine, Alstom, RAF, KBM Accountancy and Olssen
Students have also gained university places at Nottingham, Sheffield, Kings College London, Reading, City, Queen Mary, Brunel, Hertfordshire, Leeds Beckett and Brighton
Executive Principal Wayne Edwards said: “This is a great set of results considering the last two years of their education and the impact of COVID.”
