A NEW walking guide, Walking in the Footsteps of an Edwardian, has been published by the Colne Valley Regional Park.
Based on Stephen Springall’s 1907 Country Rambles Round Uxbridge, it reflects on landscape changes in the past 100 years, with gravel extraction, motorways and housing development all contributing to a very different picture today.
