FOUR Wetherspoon pubs in Hillingdon and Ealing boroughs have been acclaimed for the quality of their real ale.
The Botwell Inn in Coldharbour Lane, Hayes and J.J. Moon’s in Victoria Road, Ruislip Manor are both listed in CAMRA’s Good Beer Guide 2023, alongside the Red Lion & Pineapple in Acton High Street and the Sir Michael Balcon in The Mall, Ealing
They are the only pubs in their respective areas to be listed in the guide.
CAMRA branch members chose the pubs following regular visits to check on the quality of ales on offer.
They also took into account customer service, décor and overall atmosphere.
A CAMRA spokesman said: “It is our belief that, if a licensee serves an excellent pint of real ale, then everything else in the pub, including customer service, quality of food and atmosphere, are likely to be of an equally high standard.”
